Lighthouse provides secure, sustainable solutions for transporting, destroying, and repurposing counterfeit items and redundant stock. They ensure full chain-of-custody and ZERO to landfill. Their mission prioritises environmental impact reduction through recycling and repurposing of those goods.
The challenge
With limited time and resources internally, pursuing B Corp certification was no small feat for Lighthouse. Yet, the owner’s detail-oriented approach and the team’s unwavering commitment turned a year-long journey into a testament to diligence and purpose.
The solution
To overcome these challenges, they brought in RM Sustainability Consulting. I joined the team as a Fractional Sustainability Director to project manage their application. I provided clear guidance and support throughout the assessment by implementing a structured roadmap with weekly check-ins whilst creating waste management programs to aid their social impact efforts.
The process
I comprehensively reviewed the company’s operations, policies, and practices. Collaboratively, we pinpointed areas for improvement and crafted effective strategies to tackle them.

In 12 months, we reviewed all operations across three warehouses, multiple transport options and logistics to identify the small and big projects required to become a sustainable business. Now certified, we continue to work on the more significant projects to reduce emissions and become a Net Zero business.
